mniraq - The Wasit Province Police Command announced the dismantling of a criminal network specializing in theft, following intensive investigations that led to uncovering the details of several crimes in the province.
In an official statement, the command clarified that security forces received a report regarding the theft of an aluminum manufacturing plant. This prompted the formation of a task force and an immediate investigation, which resulted in identifying and arresting the suspects in record time.
The statement added that in-depth investigations with the perpetrators revealed their involvement in executing five similar theft incidents targeting various locations within the district.
The Wasit Police confirmed that all formal legal measures have been taken against the network members, and they have been referred to the competent courts to receive their fair punishment in accordance with the law.
