Military Intelligence Bans Media Appearances for Personnel and Establishes Official Channels for Complaints

The Military Intelligence Directorate issued strict directives on Friday prohibiting all its personnel from appearing in the media, while emphasizing the scheduling of periodic meetings with commanders to address complaints through approved legal frameworks. In an official statement, the Director of Military Intelligence, Lieutenant General Hassan Al-Silawi, explained that this measure is intended to protect the reputation of the military institution. He noted that higher directives require submitting requests and grievances through the official chain of command. Al-Silawi confirmed that explicit orders have been circulated to all commanders and directors to conduct continuous periodic interviews with personnel to listen to their demands and address them properly.
