"Imposing Sovereignty" Operations Launched in Najaf and Karbala Desert to Secure the Desert Triangle

The Middle Euphrates Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces announced the launch of extensive military operations named "Imposing Sovereignty" in the Najaf and Karbala desert through four axes. The commission stated that the commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations announced the launch of the operations in the Najaf and Karbala desert through four axes, aiming to secure the road linking Karbala and the Nukhayb area, noting that the operation is being implemented under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Army Chief of Staff. He explained that the operation axes include the Middle Euphrates Operations Command, the Karbala Operations Command, and the Anbar Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces, in addition to the Second Brigade in the mobilization, pointing out that the participating forces are conducting inspection and sweeping operations to a depth of up to seventy kilometers, according to well-planned military strategies and with a high level of professionalism.
