Border Forces Thwart an Innovative Drug Smuggling Operation via Hot Air Balloon West of Anbar

The Iraqi Border Forces Command announced the thwarting of a unique attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs using a hot air balloon in the Trebil border area. The Command explained that field detachments, utilizing thermal camera surveillance technology, successfully tracked and brought down the balloon, which was found to be carrying tens of kilograms of narcotic pills.
