Arrest of a Prominent Wanted Drug Trafficker in Maysan Governorate

The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced the arrest of one of the most prominent fugitives wanted by the judiciary on charges of drug trafficking in Maysan Governorate. Security forces executed a qualitative operation based on intelligence efforts and precise field tracking, resulting in the arrest of the suspect, considered the mastermind behind drug smuggling and distribution networks across several governorates. The suspect is wanted in over 15 cases, and the arrest was carried out in coordination with the Rapid Response Forces in a remote area, where quantities of narcotics and weapons were seized from him and his brother.
