Supreme Committee for Million-Strong Pilgrimages Convenes First Coordination Meeting Ahead of Arbaeen

The Supreme Committee for Million-Strong Pilgrimages, chaired by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, held its first coordination meeting to discuss security and service preparations for the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). The meeting brought together commanders and representatives from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and operations and police commands across Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, and Babylon, alongside intelligence agencies. Discussions focused on laying the groundwork to secure the movement of the expected millions of pilgrims, with senior directives issued to ensure a smooth and successful event. The meeting concluded with the approval of solid and flexible plans, precisely defining tasks, responsibilities, and timelines to manage any field developments.
