mniraq - The Dhi Qar Criminal Court has issued a six-year prison sentence to a former official in the Nasiriyah Municipality Directorate following his conviction for administrative and financial corruption. The Federal Integrity Commission confirmed that the convict, who previously headed the property division, was involved in accepting bribes and forging official documents to manipulate the allocation and ownership of government lands. The ruling, based on Resolution 160 of 1983, followed extensive investigations and the seizure of hundreds of forged documents in collaboration with security forces.
