mniraq - A judicial source reported, on Saturday (September 12, 2026), that the file of the accused of selling pork meat in Najaf Governorate has been referred to the Criminal Court to combat this crime and prosecute him according to the law.
The source said that the file of the pork meat seller, who was caught days ago in one of the alleys of Najaf al-Ashraf, was referred to the Najaf Criminal Court for trial after all evidence and proof against him were completed.
The source added that the court is awaiting the setting of the trial session and the issuance of the final ruling against him according to the provisions of the Iraqi Penal Code.
