Ministry of Justice Announces the Release of 640 Inmates

The Ministry of Justice has released the monthly statistics detailing the number of inmates discharged by the Iraqi Reform Department, with the total reaching 640 individuals across Baghdad and several governorates. The ministry specified that 419 inmates were released pursuant to various judicial rulings, while 221 individuals were granted freedom under the General Amnesty Law. The ministry reiterated that the reform department continues to process and execute release orders immediately upon the fulfillment of all legal requirements, ensuring adherence to established statutory frameworks and humanitarian standards.
