Security forces in Basra province successfully thwarted an organized crude oil smuggling operation on the highway connecting Basra and Dhi Qar. The operation followed precise intelligence efforts that led to the discovery of a complex oil breach, consisting of an underground pressure pipe extending over 500 meters and connecting to the main oil transport pipeline. The raid resulted in the seizure of two tanker trucks at the site; the first was loaded with crude oil attempting to flee, while the second was empty and prepared to receive additional shipments. All seized items were confiscated and handed over to judicial and competent authorities to complete the necessary legal actions against those involved.
