Judiciary Sentences Terrorist to Death for Involvement in Armed Operations in Nineveh

Judicial authorities have sentenced a terrorist element to death after convicting him of converting his private workshop into a weapons and explosives storage facility to support armed organizations in Nineveh Governorate. Investigations proved the convict's involvement in carrying out a series of terrorist operations targeting security forces and civilians, including assassinations and car bombings, as well as his active participation in prison raids and the killing of inmates. The verdict was issued in accordance with the provisions of the effective anti-terrorism law.
