Iraqi Ministry of Interior Deploys Full Security and Service Resources for Major Religious Pilgrimage

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the mobilization of its comprehensive security and service capabilities under an integrated plan to secure the annual commemoration of the death of the Prophet Muhammad. Ministry spokesperson Colonel Muhammad Ali Al-Hasoon stated that the plan aims to ensure safe movement and protection for millions of visiting pilgrims. The operation features direct field support from the Police College, including 760 cadets and 57 officers deployed across key routes to manage crowd flow, reinforce security sectors, and gain practical field experience.
