Interior Minister Assigns Legal Dept to Follow Up on Najaf Police Station Incident

Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari ordered the Legal Department director to head to Najaf to investigate a dispute between a policeman and a lawyer at Al-Amirat Police Station. The Minister stressed that the dignity of citizens and lawyers is a red line, affirming that the law is above all and no individual transgressions undermining state prestige will be tolerated.
