mniraq - The Federal Integrity Commission revealed the dismantling of a network involved in forgery and manipulation of real estate allocation and ownership procedures within the Nasiriyah Municipality Directorate. The Commission confirmed the execution of arrest warrants against the former municipal director and several employees. Task forces seized the original allocation record for 104 prime properties, each valued at approximately 100 million IQD, which were transferred through severe regulatory violations. Ongoing investigations uncovered dozens of forged transactions. A freeze order has been placed on all involved properties, with a total estimated value of 10.4 billion IQD, to protect public funds pending final judicial rulings.
