Gambling Hall Shut Down in Baghdad and 4 Violators Arrested

Baghdad Operations Command announced the closure of a hall for practicing the gambling game "betting," and the arrest of four violators who were inside it. The command stated that through regional search and inspection duties and scrutiny of hotels, halls, and restaurants, its units in the First Division Federal Police, in cooperation with detachments from the Tourist Security Directorate and the Residency and Nationality Directorate, with support from intelligence agencies and apparatuses, were able to close a hall where the gambling game was practiced and arrest four violators in flagrante delicto, in addition to seizing 90 gambling devices and other tools, within the Karrada area in Rusafa side. The statement added that the accused and the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete legal procedures against them.
