Foiling a State Real Estate Manipulation Attempt and Preventing the Waste of Billions in Anbar Governorate

mniraq - Regulatory authorities have successfully uncovered and foiled a major manipulation attempt that could have caused massive financial waste estimated at tens of billions of dinars in the valuation of strategic state-owned real estate in Anbar Governorate. Investigations revealed suspicions of corruption involving the valuation of the property, which enjoys a prime location, at a meager price far below its actual market value. In light of these findings, competent judicial authorities issued immediate decisions to halt the public auction procedures for the property and referred the entire file to external audit committees to ensure the protection of public funds and identify those responsible.
