Civil Defense Teams Control a Massive Fire in a Commercial Warehouse After Intensive Efforts

Security authorities and the Civil Defense Directorate have announced complete control over a large-scale fire that broke out in a building used for storing bicycles and highly flammable chemicals, such as paints and oils. Control was achieved after continuous firefighting operations that lasted for several hours of relentless work. Security sources reported that specialized teams are currently conducting cooling operations at the site to prevent the fire from reigniting. The incident resulted in injuries among Civil Defense officers and personnel while performing their duties, in addition to several workers sustaining bruises and injuries while attempting to evacuate the building to escape the flames.
