The Baghdad Operations Command announced the closure of the "Ya Hussein" road, spanning from the Bridges Intersection to the Baghdad Arches, coinciding with the launch of milling and maintenance works required to prepare the route for welcoming crowds and procession tents participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein. The Command noted that an alternative traffic management plan has been implemented, diverting large cargo vehicles to the capital's western entrance instead of the southern entrance, while small passenger cars are directed toward the Dora-Youssifiyah highway to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion.
