The success of docking the commercial space habitat module has piqued the curiosity of many regarding the future of space tourism travel and how close it is to the average citizen. While this step is considered a dazzling technological achievement that opens the door for humans to reside in Earth's orbit, the current cost per trip makes it exclusive to billionaires and the ultra-wealthy only. Nevertheless, historical experiences in technology and aviation indicate that costs gradually decrease with increased flights and improved technologies. Optimists believe this achievement is the first building block that will make outer space travel accessible to the middle classes in the coming decades, exactly as happened with commercial air travel in the last century. Until then, space exploration will remain, for the majority, an experience we follow with passion through our advanced screens.
