Health authorities in Najaf have implemented a comprehensive emergency medical plan featuring more than 3,400 healthcare workers to safeguard pilgrims attending the major religious event. The operational framework incorporates 60 medical posts, 122 ambulances, and full mobilization across regional hospitals divided into three main sectors. Additionally, health inspection teams are monitoring food safety while distributing 15,000 educational leaflets to prevent heat stroke and health complications.
