Environmental Warnings of the Risks of Indiscriminate Disposal of Medical Waste in Sewage Networks

Regulatory reports revealed that medical waste disposal committees in some sectors resort to primitive methods, such as crushing materials and mixing them with regular waste in landfills, due to the lack of standard incinerators. Competent authorities emphasized that dumping these wastes violates environmental protection laws and warns of a health disaster due to pathogens reaching surface and groundwater resources.
