Ministry of Justice Completes First Phase of Electronic Bracelet Project at Nasiriyah Prison

The Ministry of Justice announced the completion of the first phase of an electronic bracelet system designed to regulate financial transactions for inmates at Nasiriyah Central Prison. Developed in cooperation with the Agricultural Bank, the initial phase issued 3,000 smart bracelets linked to payment cards. The system automates purchases within prison canteens, promoting transparency and fair pricing, with plans to expand coverage across all correctional facilities.
