Al-Waleed Crossing Witnesses the Launch of the First Iraqi Cement Export Shipment to Syria

The Border Ports Authority announced on Sunday the departure of the first shipment of Iraqi cement designated for export to Syrian territory via the Al-Waleed border crossing. In an official statement received by "MN Iraq" agency, the Authority clarified that the export process was carried out under the direct supervision and monitoring of higher commands, noting that this step reflects the efficiency of regulatory and supervisory procedures and highlights the high coordination among state institutions. The statement added that the Al-Waleed crossing is fully prepared technically and administratively, qualifying it to play a pivotal role in stimulating commercial activity and facilitating the flow of goods.
