mniraq - An international news report published today, Saturday (September 12, 2026), revealed that five percent of the fuel available in the global market has been removed from circulation as a result of the strike targeting the Saudi oil pipeline.

The report stated that Saudi Arabia announced the closure of the East-West oil pipeline after it was hit by an attack launched from Iraqi territory, explaining that the closure caused the global market to lose about 5% of the supplied fuel quantity.

The report warned that global oil prices will exceed one hundred and twenty dollars per barrel in the coming few days if the lost share of the market is not restored, stressing that the higher prices will be borne by diesel fuel.

It is worth noting that the Iraqi government announced the formation of an investigative committee, in cooperation with Iran, to examine the details of the attack that targeted the Saudi oil pipeline.
