US CENTCOM Reports 30 Iranian Attacks on Vessels in Hormuz, Secures Transit of 450 Million Barrels

United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that Iran targeted more than 30 commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz over a 90-day period, stating that these attacks threatened maritime security and seafarers' lives. CENTCOM highlighted that despite these actions, it facilitated the safe passage of nearly 900 commercial ships and 450 million barrels of crude oil through the strait since early May. The military command confirmed ongoing operations against Iranian military command centers, naval assets, drone storage facilities, and logistical infrastructure to neutralize threats to international shipping.
