Updated Gold Prices and Dollar Exchange Rates Reported in Iraqi Markets

Local markets registered fresh updates regarding gold prices and the US Dollar exchange rate. Global gold reached $4,374 per ounce, while local retail prices per mithqal were reported at 937,000 IQD for 21-karat, 804,000 IQD for 18-karat, 982,000 IQD for 22-karat, and 1.070 million IQD for 24-karat. In the foreign exchange market, the US Dollar traded at 152,700 IQD per $100 in Baghdad, while reaching 153,400 IQD per $100 in the Kurdistan Region.
