Traffic Directorate Announces Reduced Transaction Processing Time and Discusses Challenges of Massive Vehicle Increase

Traffic authorities have confirmed that the processing of official citizen transactions is now completed in a record time of under half an hour, acknowledging at the same time significant challenges posed by the massive increase in the number of vehicles nationwide, which has exceeded seven million, putting immense strain on road infrastructure. Relevant authorities explained that they are working to address traffic accident black spots, noting a significant decrease in mobile phone usage violations, while excessive speed remains the primary cause of accidents. The continuation of the traffic radar project to control violations and reduce accidents on highways connecting provinces was also announced.
