Tel Aviv Issues Military Directives to Prevent Tehran from Acquiring Nuclear Weapons, Rejects Withdrawal from Combat Fronts

The Israeli military leadership has issued strict directives to the army to remain on high alert and prepare to prevent Iran from developing or acquiring nuclear weapons at any cost. The Israeli Defense Ministry emphasized the necessity for Israel to maintain complete independence in taking the necessary military decisions and actions to avert this threat. Concurrently, the Israeli leadership expressed expectations that the US administration will adopt a firm and decisive stance regarding Iran's nuclear and missile programs, as well as curbing the influence of Tehran-backed armed factions in the region. It was also reaffirmed that Israel refuses to withdraw from the active fronts in Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip at this stage.
