mniraq - The latest weather developments issued today, Saturday (September 12, 2026), indicate stable weather across most areas of Iraq during the current week, with chances of some rainy cloud formations at times in the northeastern parts of the country.
Weather forecaster Sadiq Atia said in a statement that the limited rain chances in northeastern Iraq come as a result of the country being affected by a cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
He added that surface temperatures will not witness any significant change in the coming days, with generally stable weather conditions continuing.
