Prominent ISIS Financial Official Apprehended in Al Anbar Governorate

Security authorities announced the arrest of one of the top administrative and financial leaders of the ISIS terrorist organization in Al Anbar Governorate, following a proactive and qualitative security operation. The operation was the result of precise intelligence efforts and continuous tracking, leading to the capture of the suspect known as "Abu Musab." Competent authorities clarified that the detainee is considered the primary official responsible for managing financial resources and distributing what is known as "Kafalat" (financial support) to the organization's members and their families within the areas formerly known as "Wilayat al-Furat." An official arrest warrant was issued against him under the Anti-Terrorism Law, and he has been referred to legal authorities for necessary action, as part of ongoing efforts to pursue the remnants of the organization and enhance the country's stability.
