The President of the Republic, Nezar Amedi, affirmed on Friday the state's commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development, marking World Environment Day. In an official statement, the President emphasized that building a strong and prosperous nation is inextricably linked to maintaining a safe and healthy environment. He pointed out that Iraq's future begins with the preservation of its land, water, and air. The President called for transforming environmental protection into a daily cultural practice and a comprehensive national project, stressing the collective responsibility to safeguard the country's natural wealth and rich civilizational heritage.
