President Affirms Imminent Resolution of Constitutional Entitlements and State Monopoly on Arms

Speaking at a political conference in Baghdad, he stated that the government is firmly addressing security and economic challenges, emphasizing Iraq's commitment to avoiding involvement in regional conflicts. Regarding the security file, he reiterated the state's commitment to the constitution and the directives of religious authorities regarding the necessity of confining arms to the state through a comprehensive national dialogue. He also indicated that the withdrawal of the Global Coalition forces—initially requested by Iraq to combat terrorism—will take place by the end of September, asserting that Iraq no longer needs their presence.
