Assessments indicate that while transitioning to digital systems and automation is a positive step toward curbing corruption, it remains insufficient without a genuine commitment to accountability starting at the highest leadership levels. This comes amid recent government decisions to establish supreme sovereign councils to enhance integrity, oversight, and the recovery of embezzled funds.
