Parliamentary Criticism of Successive Governments Over the Exacerbation of State Land Encroachments and the Bulldozing of Agricultural Areas

mniraq - MP Mohammed Al-Khafaji held successive governments and influential entities responsible for the exacerbation of encroachments and random construction on state lands, as well as the bulldozing and division of agricultural lands. The MP noted that executive authorities often resort to issuing exceptional decisions as election seasons approach, describing them as misleading attempts aimed at public opinion. Al-Khafaji accused some influential figures of exploiting the guise of investment to pass suspicious deals and grant government lands for private projects in exchange for massive commissions and bribes, stressing that the ordinary citizen is the primary victim of these policies, in addition to the severe damage inflicted upon state institutions.
