mniraq - The Minister of Oil has affirmed that cooperation with American companies represents a fundamental pillar for developing the oil and gas industry, given their advanced technical expertise and technology that contribute to enhancing sector capabilities and raising production efficiency. The minister explained that the ministry is working to remove obstacles and accelerate contracting procedures in preparation for implementing strategic projects in cooperation with major American companies, notably Chevron, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Halliburton, and Schlumberger. He noted that these projects aim to develop oil and gas fields, increase production, optimally invest in natural resources, and transfer technology and develop infrastructure, supporting economic development plans in the country.
