Nineveh Inaugurates Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Hospital, Begins Receiving Patients

The Governor of Nineveh announced the official opening of the specialized Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Hospital, which has begun receiving patients to alleviate their suffering and eliminate the need for travel to seek treatment. This medical facility is considered one of the most prominent strategic health projects in Iraq. It consists of three floors with a capacity of 100 beds and 33 isolation rooms that meet approved medical standards. The hospital is also equipped with the latest medical technologies, including three linear accelerators, a hot lab, a PET scan machine, alongside a comprehensive system of advanced specialized equipment.
