New Piracy Attempt Thwarted Against a Cargo Ship in the Gulf of Aden

International maritime sources reported on Saturday the thwarting of an attempt by a suspicious boat carrying armed individuals to approach a cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden. This marks the second such incident in the same area within less than 24 hours. Reports indicated that the security team assigned to protect the vessel fired warning shots after the boat came in close proximity, forcing the armed men to alter their course and move away. Warning advisories have been issued to commercial vessels navigating the area to exercise extreme caution and immediately report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities, as official investigations are launched to determine the circumstances of these recurring incidents.
