The Ministry of Oil, through the Oil Products Distribution Company, issued directives to release the allocated July quota of gas oil for residential private generators. This step responds to government directives aimed at alleviating the burden on citizens during the summer season. The company clarified that the quota will amount to 45 liters per "KV" free of charge, while keeping the active June quota of 40 liters at a subsidized price. The company urged generator owners to adhere to the free operation schedules parallel to the national grid, ensuring no less than 20 hours of daily supply, and warned against any manipulation of approved prices.
