Ministry of Oil Forms Emergency Operation Rooms to Contain the Liquid Gas Crisis in Provinces

The Ministry of Oil, represented by the Gas Filling Company, announced the formation of emergency operation rooms and regulatory detachments to take to the field to contain the temporary crisis in liquid gas supply witnessed by some provinces. The upper management of the company affirmed that national refineries are operating at full production capacity to supply both governmental and private plants with the required quantities, and that the flaw lies within the distribution chains and monopolistic attempts. The Ministry directed the deployment of mobile convoys and vehicles belonging to the company to sell gas cylinders at the direct official price to citizens in residential neighborhoods to cut off exploiters in the black market. Furthermore, relevant authorities stressed that work permits will be revoked and contracts of agents and distributors proven involved in hoarding the material or raising its prices will be canceled, affirming the government's diligent pursuit to provide petroleum derivatives to the citizen with complete smoothness and high professionalism.
