mniraq - The Ministry of Justice announced the release of 136 juveniles from the Juvenile Reform Department, in accordance with applicable legal and judicial decisions.
In an official statement, the ministry clarified that the release included 5 detainees, while 24 juveniles were freed after completing their sentences. Additionally, 103 juveniles were granted conditional release for good behavior and successful completion of rehabilitation programs, based on social research recommendations and judicial approvals. The measures also included releasing one juvenile via a cassation ruling and 3 juveniles under the General Amnesty Law.
