Iraqi Minister of Finance Faleh Sari directed the launch of the third phase of the customs automation system "ASYCUDA" early next month, during a comprehensive meeting with the Customs Authority and representatives of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The Minister emphasized that this project is a fundamental pillar for modernizing customs administration, as it simplifies procedures, enhances transparency, and improves financial performance, thereby positively impacting non-oil revenues and the business environment. The Customs Authority confirmed the completion of technical requirements, marking a qualitative leap in electronic monitoring at border crossings.
