Ministry of Electricity Approves Enhanced Power Supply and Equipment for Karbala Ahead of Religious Commemorations

Representative Ibtisam Hashim Al-Hilali of Karbala Governorate announced the Ministry of Electricity's approval to supply the province with necessary equipment and increase power supply hours to coincide with the Ashura and Arbaeen commemorations. Al-Hilali clarified that the approval includes providing 150 power transformers, alongside essential wires and maintenance materials. Furthermore, agricultural areas in the Ain Al-Tamur district will be equipped with mobile and fixed power stations to meet the needs of the agricultural sector. The directives also included referring the request to settle financial dues for companies contracted with Karbala's distribution sector to the relevant committees for resolution.
