Minister of Electricity Launches Direct Hotlines to Expedite Handling of Citizens' Complaints

Minister of Electricity Ali Saadi Wuhaib called on citizens on Thursday, May 28, 2026, to communicate directly via the hotlines dedicated by the ministry to receive complaints regarding power supply services. The ministry emphasized that this initiative aims to accelerate response times and address technical faults immediately. The following contact numbers were allocated: (157 for Karkh, 158 for Rusafa, 1012 for Sadr City, 159 for other provinces excluding the Kurdistan Region, and 5608 for the Ministry's headquarters, available to all provinces). This step is part of a series of measures intended to improve the quality of electricity services and enhance direct communication mechanisms with subscribers.
