mniraq - The Minister of Defense has issued a ministerial order canceling disciplinary penalties imposed on officers and ranks in the armed forces, as well as penalties imposed on civilian employees. The decision comes on the occasion of assuming ministerial duties, in appreciation of the efforts and sacrifices of armed forces personnel, and out of keenness to boost their morale and provide them with the opportunity to open a new page based on commitment, discipline, and dedication to duty. The decision included civilian employees in accordance with effective legal provisions, to be implemented for those upon whom penalties were imposed prior to its issuance.
