Kurdistan Region President and SDF Commander Discuss Syrian Developments in Erbil

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, in Erbil today for a meeting focused on current developments and issues of mutual interest. The meeting included extensive discussions on the latest developments in the Syrian arena, the situation of Kurds there, and the political and security developments in northern and eastern Syria. Both sides also exchanged views on regional issues related to the Syrian dossier and explored ways to enhance joint coordination to address the rapid changes in the region amidst complex political and security interactions among various local and international powers.
