Joint Operations Room Formed and Maintenance Teams Mobilized in Preparation for Muharram Plan

Electricity distribution authorities have announced the formation of a joint operations room to oversee the power supply plan for the month of Muharram, covering the capital and targeted provinces, particularly the holy city of Karbala. This step coincides with the launch of an intensive campaign to remove violations on transmission and distribution lines, aiming to ensure the stability of the electrical grid and reduce unprogrammed outages. Preparations included deploying maintenance detachments, equipping the transport fleet to move pilgrims, exempting pilgrimage routes from scheduled power cuts, and conducting proactive maintenance to enhance supply efficiency and end random tampering with the national grid.
