Iraqi Prime Minister Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments with the Emir of Qatar

Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi held official talks with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in the capital, Doha. The Prime Minister's Media Office stated that Al-Zaidi extended his condolences to the Emir on the passing of the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. He expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized Iraq's commitment to fostering cooperation. Both sides highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving crises and stressed the need to implement the memorandums of understanding between the United States and Iran to ensure regional stability and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
