Iraqi Ports Receive First Commercial Cargo Ship Arriving Directly from China via the Strait of Hormuz

 Iraqi ports welcomed the first commercial cargo ship arriving directly from the People's Republic of China via the Strait of Hormuz, marking the first such arrival since the resumption of maritime navigation through the strait. The General Administration of Ports confirmed that the docking of the vessel sends a highly important reassuring message regarding the stability of international shipping lanes and the continuous flow of supply chains into the country. The ship carried a massive cargo of nearly 30,000 tons, ranging from logistical equipment designated for the oil sector to general commercial goods, reflecting the high readiness of Iraqi ports and the growing confidence of global shipping lines in their operational capabilities.
