Iraq Expresses Readiness to Provide Legal and Judicial Support to Syria

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, announced Iraq's direct support for Syria's reconstruction and development efforts, confirming the readiness of the Iraqi judiciary to extend full assistance and expertise to its Syrian counterpart. Speaking during a joint meeting held in Damascus with Syrian Justice Minister Mazhar Abdul Rahman Alees, both officials stressed the importance of strengthening the rule of law, institutional capacity building, and expanding bilateral legal and judicial cooperation.
