mniraq - The Chairman of the National Investment Commission directed the redrawing of Iraq's investment map, shifting focus towards strategic industrial and qualitative projects, and announced the practical launch of Modern Cities projects across governorates. The Commission held an extensive meeting to discuss developing the investment environment, facilitating procedures, and protecting capital. It emphasized the need for a fundamental shift to support exports and activate the industrial sector as a main pillar of the national economy. The Commission clarified that the one million residential plots project is nearing its final stages to begin constructing 15 integrated investment cities in coordination with specialized consulting firms. It also called for adopting the agricultural developer model to accommodate graduates, keeping pace with digital investment, and utilizing geological survey results to build strategic factories.
